We all know we lost this game, so it's not the most fun Mizzou game to re-watch... But if u're like me and dying to watch actual sports and not just listen to the thousands of talking heads just talk about them, it's fun to watch Mizzou in action again.

Couple things I had forgotten about this game...

-- Dominic Lovett had already transferred out. So no real surprise that our not good offense didn't play real well in this game.
-- Brady Cook ran the ball 14 times in this game. That's more than any other player on the team. How does that happen? He ain't Lamar Jackson. So why did he have more rushes than anybody else?
-- Luther Burden dropped 3 passes in this game... Like, flat out just dropped em... And had another one that he probably shoulda caught... We tried to get Luther the ball in this game... He just wasn't co-operating... At least not enough.
-- 1st quarter just finished and our defense played really well in this game... One of their WRs had over 100 yds, but he got most of them in the 2nd half... Until that point, we really played pretty damn good on defense... Bailey, Hopper, and Carlies in particular were fantastic... Re-watching this game has made me SUPER EXCITED about seeing those guys again this yr.
-- Last thing... why didn't Sam Horn play in this game? It was a meaningless bowl game... We found out later, Cook was hurt for most of the season... And Cook started out playing terrible right from the beginning... Why not put Horn in and see what he's got? I'm a Coach Drink guy and I wanna be a full-fledge believer, but this Brady Cook thing is driving me insane... He was hurt and also NOT PLAYING WELL... Once u got to bowl eligible, why not play the other guy?

Just wanna say one more time, watching these guys against a team that was better than ours (especially with no Dominic Lovett) our defense should be really good this year. Really really good.

ACC Network is Channel 612 on DirecTV.
