I took the kids to Columbia last night to watch the quad meet at the Hearnes Center. My kids are 6 and 8, and they had a wonderful time. My 6 year old just started tumbling this year, and she was excited watching our team perform. It was Senior night, and the kids were able to get autographs after the meet. My 8 year old son and I have been to a couple of football games in the past, and all of us are going to Wyoming to watch the season opener in August. I had been thinking of a way to introduce my daughter to Mizzou athletics, and last night was the perfect opportunity. I just wanted to give a shout out to our amazing athletes on our gymnastics team. I'm sure the die-hard fans, like us here at this site, appreciate these athletes. But I'd like to encourage anyone who is a Mizzou fan to check out one of these meets, or any of our other teams if you have some spare time. I don't know anything about gymnastics....lol..but it doesn't take a genius to appreciate how talented these kids are, and appreciate all of the hard work they put it in to their sport. These ladies are excellent ambassadors for our school and state. MIZ!!!
