After BD Heisman, I maintain that we had good options at QB for every transition except Gabbert (and Dalton 5.7 was incoming that year before he flaked out).
Here are all those QBs with their recruiting score:

Chase D 5.7
Gabbert 6.1
Franklin 5.8
Gabbert II 5.8
Berkstresser/Hosick 5.7
Mauk 5.7
Zanders 5.5
Lock 5.8
Here is who we have on the roster now:

Our lowest rating for a starting QB since BD has been 5.7. We don't have anyone rated that highly on the roster (as of now) when Lock leaves. One of these guys may be the answer, but surely we need more options (and hopefully high rated ones at that).
