We all know that Bill Self runs the athletic dept. at ku. We also know that he has said as much, that ku would never play Mizzou as long as he was coaching.
Does this mean that he is leaving? With the investigation going on over there, and the damning evidence they have, did the university tell him he’s got this year, then he’s gotta go? I just find it very coincidental that ku has agreed to play us in a 6 game series, with the looming investigation, and most likely sanctions that’s heading their way, and not a peep out of bill self on scheduling this series. (Or at least nothing that I’ve heard.)
My take is, they gave him this year, then leave. Go to the NBA. Go save face, or we’re going to fire you when the NCAA slaps us with sanctions.
