Most people have heard of Murphy's Law: "What can go wrong will go wrong". But last night it got worse with little-known O'Leary's corollary: "Murphy was an optimist". A Hollywood script writer could not have written a worse outcome. Mistakes and turnovers weren't just ordinary; they were crippling. Rountree fumbles down by the goal and their guy picks it up and almost scores doing the other way (note: can't believe Kelly was able--or willing--to go catch the guy. Very few QB's would even have attempted to chase him down, and it they did, wouldn't have caught him--unbelievable play by Bryant). Then Bryant's fumble that was not just recovered by WY but returned for a TD. Then Albert O. pushes off a guy probably 65 pounds lighter than himself and negates a TD, followed by the Bryant INT in the end zone. Then their QB and RB bust off 2 huge runs that were inexcusable. O'Leary's corollary definitely was at play last night.
