Yeah, the speculation and daily stuff has been not my favorite thing. But now it's full go on that stuff and I get why. The coach is talking about it, the kid is saying he thinks there's a good chance. So, yeah, let's talk.

The one thing we learned without question today (and this is the one thing I've said confidently for a month) is that if he is cleared he desperately wants to play. It's not gonna be, "Yeah, the doctor said I can play, but I don't think it's worth the risk." If the doctor says he can play, he's playing.

The key then becomes when. He said he has a doctor's appointment in a week or so and hopes to get cleared. Once he's cleared, he needs about a week of practice. This isn't blind speculation on my part.

So let's say the doctor is a week from today, that's Friday, Feb 16. Then a week of practice after that gives us Feb. 23. Missouri plays at Kentucky Saturday, Feb 24.

That's the one I'm targeting. I'm not telling you that's when he's coming back, but that's the one I'd look at right now. If he's cleared, I think that's when he plays. And that's what makes sense. Because he HAS to have a couple regular season games. You just can't throw him in a tournament game without having been out there. You just can't. So the Kentucky game isn't the drop dead date to me, but it's close. If he's not playing by Feb 27 at Vandy, I think you've got to shut it down.

But I think he plays. And I don't know how you could take today's stuff to indicate anything else.
