Heard a radio bit today about fans of nfl teams...but it pertains to college sports, imo... the rise of all games on network TV means kids dont have to watch the home team every week. People can pick their team and see all the games..I think thats a significant reason why more and more kids are leaving their state each year... I think that number will continue to grow.
and not just tv but social media... growing up the local paper was what i could read...mizzou was covered in depth then some natl schools. Now kids get as much coverage of ucf or usc or penn state on their phones if they want and nothing on mizzou...
