So, to those of you thinking Drink should not have kicked the field goal, I will simply tell you why he didn't: he didn't want to risk a turnover because there is a chance a running back might fumble the football going into the end zone. I know this rarely happens, but...

IF our best player was our QB, I would maybe consider putting the ball in his hands. Our QB is not very good. If our biggest strength was our offensive line, then perhaps we could have just pushed Auburn into the end zone. Our OL is not very good.

Our best player up until now has been our All American kicker. They put the risk in the right place. Nick Saban would have done the same thing.
