Completely suck IMO!!! After watching that cluster fvck between Illinois and Penn St., I freaking hate the new rule. Not only did it take forever, It was more like a gimmick than letting football decide the winner. If it was a regular OT, I think Illinois would have been able to pound the ball and win the game much earlier. The one play for a 2 point conversion basically shelved their running game.
The worse part was switching ends after every OT. Walking 94 yards after every OT, was a complete joke and has absolutely no flow to it. They have proceeded to ruin one of the best OTs in all of sports.
While I'm at it. Why in the hell did they take reviews out of the league offices. Mirroring the NFL is not something that you want to do. Just make the damn call in Birmingham or where ever, and get on with the game. Waiting for some referee to walk over and look in a tiny monitor is not the way. I don't give a fvck if it hurts their feelings. Replay used to be really good in college and now it sucks as much or more than the NFL's replay. Put somebody in a booth or office with a huge monitor and let them make the call.
