I asked @Kyle McAreavy to remove a thread on Isaiah Brutus on Thursday, which discussed his offer as a safety and how the Tigers missed out on five defensive backs late into the 2025 cycle.
@John Garcia Jr. notified me Brutus has fabricated offers before, though. I reached out to Missouri to see if this offer was real, but I haven't heard back.
I messaged with Brutus about the offer, before I spoke with John, and it seemed legitimate. Yet the lack of ratings on all four sites and inconsistency in offers were red flags. He announced Saturday -- and messaged me separately -- he's visiting Missouri on Jan. 11, the date he told me he'd consider committing. I'm still awaiting confirmation that the interest is legitimate.
