I meant to post this when I read it a few days ago but the LSU news reminded me of it.
Title IX was already a mess, but it was one of the few avenues sexual assault victims had. It is now basically worthless. I had a friend who went through the process share this article with me and she shared her experience with me. It is heartbreaking to hear but with the new rule in place it sounds like hardly anyone will go through the Title IX.
I had a few friends who went through Title IX and told me how awful the system is, but how it was their best course of action as opposed to going to the Police.
