I’m not sure there was an overt fix, don’t know if there’s enough proof to say that. But I think an underlying bias exists against smaller market teams in that they will howl less if gored, than the New York’s or LA’s.
NFL is going to have to address parity, and how it actually applies to teams. Otherwise if Brady comes back there is no point playing the season next year. The PATs will barely make the playoffs, then turn the switch and win it all again.
