South Dakota just walked into the hardest place to play in FCS and knocked off #2 NDSU on Saturday. They are now 3-1 and ranked 21st in the FCS.
MTSU got dog-walked by Western Kentucky to drop to 1-4. Clearly the outlier of the season. Mizzou stunk up the joint this game, even with the obvious vanilla playcalling. Good opponent for it to happen against.
K-State had a BYE
Memphis beat Boise State and sits at 4-1. They get Tulane at home this week in what is the toughest opponent remaining on the schedule. Win that and they have the path to win out and potentially be the G5’s representative in the NY6.
