It's update season in the baseball prospect world, and as I was assisting in feedback for an Astros list, I heard a positive note on former Missouri pitcher Bryce Mayer: "(He) is apparently a revelation."
Houston selected Mayer in the 16th round of this past summer's Draft. You don't always expect guys drafted that late to be ranked right after, but there's a case to be made from what the organization saw in a small sample size in 2024. The righty struck out 10 batters in 6 1/3 innings at Single-A. I'll update this thread once Top 30 rankings are live.
