It's pretty ridiculous the way some of you are talking about MPJ and his family. He doesn't remotely deserve it.
I understand being tired of the daily will-he-wont-he. I hate both it and how much I care about it. The only thing Mike has done "wrong", though, was his press conference two weeks ago where he gave specifics that raised expectations. And here's the thing: it's highly unlikely that he was playing fast and loose with his expected return. He probably thought he would be good to go as soon as the docs cleared him.
It's also clear that he's still very invested in the team. You can see it from his reactions on the bench (when he's not scoping baddies). His body language shows he's got every intention of helping the team if he can.
On top of that, he was almost single handedly responsible for the revival of Mizzou basketball, or at the very least excitement around the program. Without his commitment we definitely don't get our current best two players and possibly Tilmon. He's given us so much without even stepping on the court.
Idk, maybe just wait a couple hours to say shitty stuff about our players just because you're mad or disappointed and cool down.
(That last part is actually a great tip for life in general, especially marriage. You're welcome.)
