I'll tell you what my source gave me through the search (basically nothing)
He didn't know much except for a few rumors he had heard circling the sports agent world. He was spot on with the Cuonzo hire, but he was really close to that situation.. or at least someone at his firm was.
I exchanged text messages a couple times with him and talked to him once. He had no idea how anything went down as far as the meeting between Sterk and the BOC went. He did however tell me that he thought Steve Sarkisian was going to be the hire. He told me initially "Sark will be the hire... if Mizzou wants him, because he definitely wants the job. I can't imagine Mizzou won't give him a serious look." I checked this out with Gabe and someone else, and both of them said it was news to them. I'm not sure if Sark was actually talked to or not.
Only two other things of relevance because their names came up a lot was Harsin and Mcelwain. He told me that "Harsin was never really interested, he would have had to been floored by the dollar figure, and even then I doubt he'd take the job." and on Mcelwain he said "there is a lot of thought in the industry that Mcelwain will retire as the Central Michigan Coach."
Not much, but there it is.
