Missouri hires a defensive coordinator who did nothing to deserve it as a position coach. In fact you could argue he coached the worst unit on the field for us. And he had no prior defensive coordinating experience.
On offense, after having Heupel install an offense that gives us a competitive advantage over the blue bloods we go and hire a pro style guy who has never been an offensive coordinator or called his own plays.
Makes total sense to me.
