Although not likely, there’s a small chance this could happen...and how crazy would that be?
I know when Harsin left ASU (more coincidence), ASU talked to Memphis DC Barry Odom before they hired Anderson. My ASU contact said then his experience was their big obstacle and Anderson was a better fit for their brand of offensive football.
Now, Anderson is definitely leaving Jonesboro and we look like a good bet. I gotta think the ASU folks would love to have a former SEC HC who has MO, Ark and Memphis ties to replace Anderson.
Probably not a concern to most right now but given nothing is likely to happen until next week, I thought this an interesting little tangent. Would be an incredible coincidence if this transpired.
