Want proof? No good coach, given the choice, would wear dark jersey and pants over white jersey...and gold or white pants when game day weather is ~88 degrees and sunny. A little background, trying to help HC Odom...I wrote him this summer exactly about this situation. Does he do what most good coaches would do and wear white jerseys for all home day games in September and early November. No, he is more interested in mixing up uniform combinations...I assume to please the players or the fans. This is crazy. Let Purdue wear jerseys while the Tigers wear anthracite jerseys and black pants is flat out...stupid...especially in 88 degrees and sunny weather. Think about it. Why does LSU almost always where white jerseys and gold pants at home...especially in September and October? A team will not win or lose a game based upon the color of their jerseys; however, you put your team at a disadvantage. And, that is exactly what Coach Odom did. It is very hard to support a coach who does not look to give his team every chance to be successful. Attractive uniform combinations will not win games.
