I think I understand the premise of an Official visit where the school can pay transportation for the recruit an one (1 or 2?) significant parent figures, a high $$ meal, hotel room, etc.
But can the school provide anything to a kid on an unofficial visit? Can the coaches interact with the kids? Allow them into the locker room before or after the game? Can they get free game tickets? What if a Mizzou player had a friend from his HS up here on an Unofficial visit. Can he sleep in the Mizzou player's room or use the weight room?
Just curious.
