Overall, I thought nobody really stood out.

Which rarely happens. But you can't "watch" everything. However, I do have a takeaway from what I saw. This might be the best MU defense in a while...no best is the wrong word.... best team defense. They have to find an end, preferably two. We saw flashes today from ends, but this team needs more than that. IF this team could add one of the ends from (take your pick from 2000-2015) I think it could be a top 15 defense in the country. They are just... solid at each position. More so than at any time I can remember, 1-11. The DL is good, the LB'ing is good, the secondary play is good. And the guys that replace the starters are no slouches.
But we all know without a pass rush, good crumbles under pressure.

When Nick Bolton hits you, you know it.
Aubrey Miller was all over the place
Jordan Ulmer sighting. He played very well against the run early. Was a little lax in coverage for a bit and then had a nice PBU.
Markell Utsey looked quicker. His body looks different.
I had to keep looking at my roster. Perkins, Elliott, Acy, Holmes, Ware, Byers.
