Huge fail. It would have been far worse had a lot of STL olds not made the drive. I know of 4 first hand. I tried to get a friend (2 time cancer survivor) to drive down but she said it was just too far.

For those those that need help. Shots are being distributed to hospitals and pharmacies pro rata based on population. But to tip the scales in favor of rural areas, mass clinics are located based on highway patrol regions. Poplar Bluff had a mass clinic 2 weeks ago. Now they put one in the bootheel that is 3 hours from STL and 4.5 hours from Springfield. And they only distribute 70% of their shots. WTF? Meanwhile, olds in STL can't get their shot. Fvcked.
