Has anyone ever thought to theirselves what this board needs more of is open letters? Nah, me neither. Go ahead and block me if you haven’t already, truth be told I’d probably block myself.
At any rate, I’ve said some things today in the heat of the moment and the bottom of the bourbon bottle, I swear I only meant most of them. Really though. This is a new coach, new team, we are 9 and 1, soft schedule I know. Let that sink in. We are 9 and 1. Now I would trade all 9 wins for this one tonight. That makes me an irrational “fan”natic!
We might not be terrible. That’s not nothing. This team saw what is possible at our arena, which is awesome fan support. I’ll support this team, even after getting completely embarrassed by the only opponent that is not allowed to do that to us if our head coach values his job security. Damn I wish the coaching staff and the team showed half as much passion as the fans do. It might not be their thing or maybe times are different but the shots of Stormin Norman were more emotionally inspiring than anything I saw from our bench.
Please accept my apologies for being an ass, but please take a moment to reflect on how much today sucked. I appeal to your competitive nature here to work harder, recruit harder, coach harder, elevate the program damnit. The fans deserve it. We are craving a reason to sell that place out every damn night. Give it to us.
Coach Drink I hope you are paying attention too, because I like you. If you are still our coach when we play those mother pluckers on the gridiron you better give them the same damn gravel enema on national television they just gave us.
Now make those NIL dollars rain down and get our shit together and let’s kick some freaking asses!
