Parents were asked if they were "worried or somewhat worried" with regard to the following issues of school reopening. If you are a parent of color or poor, you are more likely to be worried that teachers or staff at the school will get corona, that children won't comply with social distancing, that their child will get sick with corona, that they or someone in their family will get sick with corona, and that their child's school won't be able to comply with public health guidelines. So when we ask about systemic racism, when we ask about the equity of reopening schools, we can see who is most affected. We can see who thinks their school is properly resourced and led. We see who worries about the health of others.
