Question for those that know defensive schemes -
What are we doing wrong? I think we all agree we have tremendous defensive tackle talent (understatement.) And I see guys like Tre Williams that (forgive me) seem to have the kind of physical tools that Coach Kul would turn into nightmares. Our scheme, whatever it is, doesn't get any pressure on the QB if it's not coming from one of our DT's. And we all know what that means for our secondary. I complained about this Odom's first year when he inexplicably changed our defense which was absolutely our greatest asset when he took over. Whatever we are doing seems to handcuff our pass rush. Thoughts?
