Gabe mentioned it in his 10 thoughts this morning, but I wanted to make another thread about Alan and Buck's trek down south over the next month.
I spoke to Alan over the weekend, our tailgates are next to each other, and he is over the moon excited to make this trip and he has been incredibly humbled by everyone reaching out to him. And that's where you come in. Not only do I encourage you to donate if you can but also, if you live or know someone who lives along the route, reach out. Alan and Buck are incurring all of the costs of the ride on themselves; hotels, meals, etc. They want to donate as much as they can to the Mizzou Peds so if you know of someone that could put them up for a night along the way, I'm sure they would appreciate it.
Alan gave me his cell phone number as well as permission to share it, but I'd rather not list it on the message board. If you can help send me a message and I'll pass along his number.
Finally, my dad got Tauskie Dove's gloves after the game last weekend as he was walking off the field (really nice kid) and my dad gave them to Alan to use on the ride, to remember the team and the fans are behind him the whole way.
