My wife got a letter from TX DOT stating that she has an outstanding ticket from March 13th of this year. The problem is that we haven't left the state or visited TX this year or any year since the early 90s in any of our cars.
The last time either of us visited TX was in 2019 and it was a rental car under my name. Just another reason why TX holds the title (IMO) of most messed up state.
