Sad to see Blake go but there may be some positives to the change.
With Blake gone it’s pretty clear that Geist and Phillips will get more consistent playing time. Cuonzo had to juggle the minutes for his PGs leading to no one geting consistent PT. Perhaps more PT will allow our PGs to play better because they are in rhythm rather than coming off the bench cold and playing for a few minutes at a time. Just a thought.
Meanwhile the transfer opens up more opportunities for CCM to recruit at the PG position. It would be nice to have a great ball handler who can pass and score (I know I’m getting greedy).
