I remember watching Penn St years ago. Very good to great team. No QB. And they never had a good/great QB. And I thought, how does a borderline blue blood like Penn St not be able to find a good QB?
It can't be that hard, I thought. MIZZOU has had BD Heisman, Chase, Blaine, and now Franklin.
And sure our OL is a major issue. But what is killing me is not having a QB. Baz was serviceable for a year. That was our high point. We have been flapping in the wind since Lock left.
Hopefully Horn is the answer. And should we lose to Auburn. I think you spend the the 4 weeks getting him ready to be QB1 vs Vandy. I'd also give him a taste of the PT in the Swamp, assuming that game is out of hand in the 2H. Keep the OL in and let him have a chance against the FL 2nd defense.
