Anyone else creeped out by the term “pods?” I prefer sub conference. At any rate what if there is no expectation of playing every conference team all that often, but it is just a structure to abandon NCAA? Your six or eight team sub conference you play every year leads to a built in predefined bracket? I really kind of like that idea. You could still throw in some cream puffs and only play Bama (unless they’re in your sub conference) if you advance through the tourney?
