Pros: Would generate a huge TV audience as it will be the only game on
Would avoid a likely 11 AM kick-off
Would be on a national network rather than risking SECN +
Would free up the rest of the holiday weekend
Would likely increase (perhaps dramatically) student attendance for the many who go home for the holiday weekend
CONS: Tough for some to attend game on a Thursday night
Could possibly hurt gate attendance (I strongly disagree with this...I think it will actually help by avoiding holiday weekend conflicts)
