Something has to be done to get a grip on the portal and NIL before it ruins college athletics. Maybe if an athlete goes into the portal and leaves, their new school has to payback their previous year NIL money to their old school as well as sitting out the year? Or maybe they can skip sitting out the year is the new buyer pays back ALL the NIL that was invested in the athlete before they choose to leave?? Their has to be a way to stop the insanity and give both the athlete and buyer something to think about. Same with a coach who leaves in the middle of a contract.
