I played the game (a lot) but it was 30 years ago….might as well have been wearing leather helmets compared to today’s game.
That said, I’m curious what the current thinking is as it pertains to run defense. My thinking is that zone is a little better against the run for a few obvious reasons (primarily,guys don’t turn their back to the ball). With inexperienced LBs last night, Florida had the run going (including the back up QB.
