But LA Tech is not afraid to dial it up if it has to.
Baker’s blitz leads to a tipped pass by McGuire for a pick by Carlies. That 4-2-5 pressure on 3rd and 10 is the perfect opportunity to send 5 blitzer and you see what happens when it does happen.

Special teams almost letting a punt return break lose on the first punt of the season is not great. But Bobby Lawrence and Charleston got the stop on a 44-yard return.

First Series for offense: Three screen passes but not one pass to Burden. Hmmm, interesting. Really fast 3 and out.
This defensive line through two series is playing much better than last season. I think the blitzing of five and six people when they do it has worked out well.
Second series for defense: Holding a team to three points when they allowed over 40 TDs in 54 redzone attempts last season.
Second series for offense: Burden’s wildcat scamper for 17 yards was exciting but going for it on 3rd and 6 over the top when they prob could’ve got something underneath. Questionable.
Third series for defense: Great defense and we’ve seen a couple of times that the DEs are dropping in coverage.
Third series for offense: They started on the LA Tech 41. Cook had a nice lil first down scamper but then the next play he throws it to LB3 over top and I think LB3 should’ve caught it. It may have been slightly underthrown. But they're inside the five so, this is the first time they've really moved the ball well.
