Fifth defensive series: Hopper with a TFL. Burden went to the locker room during this drive.

Dom Lovett was out to return the punt.

Fourth offensive series: Every time Schrader runs a HB dive out of the pistol it seems like a TFL. I think it says alot that they won’t go for it on 4th and 1 at the 50. Cook could’ve got the one yard.

Sean Koetting with a 20-yard punt. He’s playing with fire IMO when it comes to this job.

Sixth defensive series: Rakestraw and Norwood miss tackles and give up first downs. Poor tackling today in some aspects. Nice stand on 4th and 1 from the defense. Which is why Mizzou should’ve went on 4th and one on their last drive… ACU isn’t going to get too far offensively anyway.

Fifth offensive series: Run game is averaging 2.5 yards per game (at the moment I type this) and Connor Wood with his second holding call of the day. Cook connected with Mookie for a gain of 19 but he missed a deep crossing route by Dove for a TD. Tauskie couldn’t get a foot down on back-shoulder fade. To be honest, besides a punt return and the deep bomb to Lovett the offenses have been playing about the same. If anything, ACU is playing a little. ACU 3, MIZ 17

Seventh defensive series: They hold up

LB3 is back to return the punt.

Sixth offensive series: So, they do nothing with the possession. Cook almost threw a pick. You’d be hoping for more explosion offensively.

Stats of note: ACU 4.8 yards per carry… MIZ 2.7 yards per carry
ACU with 3 TFL, MIZ with 2 TFL

Eighth defensive series: They hold up. The defense is doing fine besides some shaky run defense at times and poor tackling.

ACU 3, MIZ 17
