1. Luther Burden is having his breakout game and the offense is rolling.

Well, I predicted this so of course it would happen (it's a joke). Burden takes a pass 38 yards for what is the fourth-longest play of the year. He has two of the four biggest plays of the season in this game. As of the 10:31 mark in the third quarter and he has five receptions for 106 yards.

Tigers open up with a nine-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to open the second half with Brady Cook getting in from six yards out for a rushing score.

MU has got 21 unanswered points and that's all coming on its last four drives (FG, TD, FG, TD).

2. This Mizzou defense is waking up.

The defense struggled early on allowing 14 points in two of the first three drives, but then it followed it up with an interception and two consecutive forced punts.

BC's T.O.P on the last three drives 0:34, 2:18 and 1:36 as of the 8:55 mark in the third quarter.

Make that four consecutive stops for the defense. Mizzou has figured out a three-man rush with a spy is better than truly rushing four. Let Castellanos beat them. He's made some great throws but he's not leading a comeback by doing that.

3. Penalties derailing offense.

Luther Burden took someone's mouthpiece and chucked it. So, a 15-yard penalty followed by an ineligible man downfield penalty on second and 25 (that Joshua Manning got a 23-yard reception. Then, on the next play Mekhi Miller got called for an illegal blindside block and then Luther Burden got called for unnecessary roughness after the play by throwing the ball at someone on BC's sideline. Had that been another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty he would've been ejected.

Missouri lost 56 yards on four straight penalties.

It ended up being second and 58 before Noel gained 24 yards to make it third and 34 entering the fourth quarter.

End of 4th: BC 14, MIZ 24
