Eighth Series for the defense: A nice little three and out. Some pressure by the defensive line on third down. A fake punt by Vandy for the first down. I love a good trick play every now and then. That triple option had no chance. DJ Coleman with a strip sack but Vandy recovers. That’s his second straight game with a strip sack.

Eighth Series for offense: With that TFL on first down Vandy has now tied its season-high of TFL forced in a game with seven. This Mizzou offensive line is bad. Brady Cook just got crushed for strip sack recovered by Vandy for a TD. The second strip-sack returned for a TD this season against Mizzou. Vandy 7, MIZ 17

Vandy just recovered a kickoff in side Mizzou’s 21. Unfortunate bounce of the ball for the Tigers but now they have to respond.

Ninth series for the defense: A good stop for the defense. Noticeable that Swann was replaced with dual-threat QB Mike Wright and nothing happened. A missed field goal (again). So, you Mizzou fans can have a deep sigh of relief. Vandy 7, Mizzou 17.

Ninth series for the offense: Another TFL followed by a Tyler Stephens sighting. Peat got shoved straight into Cook for an incomplete on third down. So, another punt for Mizzou.

10th Series for the defense: Simply, Vandy’s offense is horrid. Punt.
