I messaged with North Carolina commit Julien Horton the past few days, but he went quiet after his official visit, originally willing to recap his visit with MizzouToday.
Horton never announced an offer from the Tigers before or during his visit, and although Javion Butts mentioned getting to talk with Horton about their upcoming decision, I have nothing on Horton's status with the program. Given he never shared an offer and Butts is trending towards the Tigers, unless the Tar Heels make a strong pitch on his future in the program under the next head coach, Horton is likely not the first option for Missouri. The program is still seeking out a second safety in the 2025 class.
