I know that some here have questioned Odom's decision to recruit heavily those who want to come to Missouri and not to try and force someone to be here who may not be a good fit. But, the more I think about it the more I like it.
You get guys from wherever who want to run through walls and kill the other guy with their bare hands for you .. you will find success. And when you are successful doing it ... you will attract the kids you want from St Louis and KC and Outstate Missouri that you have been missing out on. When kids from out of state come here and taste success the instate kids will take notice.
Now, you will never lock down the borders... but focus on the kids who want to be Tigers and don't kill yourself trying to turn someone in love with the Nubs, the Illinis or wherever... and then win.
