In the thread about the Wyoming game and altitude, several commented that the fact MU didn't seem affected by the altitude in the 4th quarter was due to the fact that athletes get a "second wind" while noting the altitude likely affected them negatively earlier in the game.
I was talking to a guy I know from Boulder today and we were discussing the CU-Nebraska game last Saturday. He said he felt fairly good that CU was only down 17 points at the half because he knew by the 4th quarter the altitude would affect the Huskers. "And sure enough", he said, "the altitude got to them in the 4th quarter."
The point I guess is that different people view the effects of altitude, and when they affect a team, differently.
