Seriously, read this piece by our favorite Illini "writer" Kedric:

https://qconline.com/sports/college...cle_1dd47307-fb7e-55aa-932d-e85f9b35bc52.html

First off, I'm sad that @GabeD hasn't started an article with a giant picture of his head.

Secondly - that grammar. Good lord man.

I defy anyone to read that article and come out the other side smarter. Look at this first sentence:

"University of Illinois men's basketball coach Brad Underwood, in his second year in the program, dealt with one of the biggest hurdles — his ability to recruit."

So his biggest hurdle is he can't recruit? Interesting hypothesis considering the article never mentions anything about him improving as a recruiter and only talks once about an assistant coach was watching Dosunmu in high school.

"What makes Dosunmu so special is that, along with his gifted talents, his emotion level never changes."

"Playing along with sophomore guard Trent Frazier, they have made it difficult for opposing teams to focus on one. Both are becoming elite defenders and no longer missing defensive assignments as a unit. Dosunmu and Frazier are the two players on the roster who have the ability to create for themselves and others."

Legit question - if I told you that I pulled these quotes out of an 8th grader's analysis of the Illini, would you have been shocked? My guess is no.

So everyone - please remember that @GabeD is next level over what some of the other Rivals networks have to deal with.

Feel free to pile on here. Let's stop going after each other about how long it takes to drive to not-a-suburb of STL and let's have fun with a real deserving party.
