Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending a Halloween Party with a few folks from Baton Rouge, LA. As you could imagine they were huge LSU Fans, the belief is that MU and TAM are getting tougher but they are still Big 12 Teams. The One thing I'll say about Barry is that our Defense is better than it has ever been when it comes to the Front 7. I think that its something to build on and that it can be sustainable. I think we all know that games in the SEC are Won up front and then you sprinkle your play-makers around them at WR/RB/CB/FS. I think we should let Barry keep grinding, I know that's not a popular opinion around here but I think we have to be patient and let him continue to build. The mistakes he's making are those of a First Time HC which he'd never been before 2 years ago. It pisses me off to hear these Traditional Programs of the SEC continue to say that we're a Big 12 Team; the only way to shut them up is to Build a Program that is capable of competing in the SEC year in and year out. If we fire Odom, you don't know who you're getting to replace him and you ruin recruiting ties that have been forged over the past 2-3 years. Lets give him a chance and maybe he'll earn our respect and also the Respect of this Traditional Conference. MIZ!
