Brown jumped to his feet, and it clicked.
His welcome to varsity football came early, and in the remainder of that October game, Brown limited James, a now redshirt freshman at Missouri, to only one reception when matched up with the St. Charles (Mo.) Francis Howell three-star, who he now sees as a friend.
