Talked to Shakespeare this afternoon and am not doing a full story, but wanted to pass on info. He looked good and caught the eye of DeMontie Cross at Mizzou's camp in KC last month. Again last night, he got a lot of individual attention from Mizzou coaches and was included in a small group Barry Odom spoke to at the conclusion of camp, which indicates to me Missouri is definitely watching him.
"I feel I stand pretty well with them," he said. "They want to see me play a few football games. They liked the way I worked one on one but they want to see me play a whole football game."
Williams said he is going to camp at KU next weekend. He's not getting a lot of interest outside of that just yet, but I'd imagine that will change. Not sure if he's a kid Mizzou ends up offering, but certainly an in-state guy to keep an eye on.
