Better late than never, I guess.

Allowing shanty towns and open drug use isn't healthy for the street people or the residents. There are better, more proactive solutions in lieu of being a sanctuary city for the homeless and mentally ill. With what should be an endless flood of tax revenue, the city could be on the forefront of providing the best amenities for those who need them the most.

Please, let's not make this a political debate, ok? I'm certain several of the mentally ill who use San Francisco's sidewalks as their personal toilets are crazy enough to have voted for Trump.
