There is a lot of learning going on….coach, players, athletic department. I’m not about to lower my expectations for what we can be in the future, but I’m willing to be patient till next season.
Finally the team came out of the locker room amped and ready to go. Hopefully that was coaching and not the late kickoff.
The play calling other than the last series was dramatically improved. This also led to much better OLine play. It appeared we were running an offense built for the talent we have and it worked.
The defense was phenomenal. If he can keep them all together and potentially use NIL to keep a couple in college one more year we could be a top 30 team again.
The offense will be special. Dom, LB3 and Miller in the future will dominate. A nice flip or two in OL recruiting and we are off and running…literally. Some combination of Horn and Cook will be our future at QB. That will tell us a lot about Drink.
