As has been rumored for a while and even touched on by Cuonzo in his press conference yesterday, I'm told Mizzou will play in a multi-team event at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut in early December. Expect that to be officially announced shortly. All of the games have not yet been set in stone, but the expectation is for Mizzou to play Boston College and Oregon (in some order) on Dec. 2 and 3.
That will get Mizzou to eight non-conference games and 26 total games, and we believe it would be the last of the schedule additions. Cuonzo said yesterday the only reason he would anticipate adding another game would be if something else fell through and they could work something out with a local team.
Full non-con schedule:
Nov. 25: Oral Roberts
Dec. 2-3: Boston College, Oregon (Mohegan Sun)
Dec. 6: at Wichita State
Dec. 9: Liberty
Dec. 12: Illinois (location TBD)
Dec. 22: Bradley
Jan. 30: TCU (Big 12-SEC challenge)
