I have supported the Tigers for many years and believe without question that our football team is SEC worthy. In fact I think it is a great fit for our athletes and Coaches.
With that said, I think our fan base is more Mountain West worthy..I was going to say D2 or D3 but generally speaking the fanbases of those schools are much more energetic and supportive of their team than many Mizzou fans. Yeah I get it...last year sucked with all the bullsh!t and poor performance by our team. However a few years ago we won back to back SEC East Division Championships.
I....like most on these boards.... love football! I live and breathe for football season! What I just don't get is the total apathy of many so called Mizzou Fans that prefer mowing their yard on Saturday to coming out for our freaking home opener, and rooting on a group of great young athletes. I just don't get it...counting down the hours until kickoff! MIZ....
