This homeowner has been jailed after defending his home from burglars in late May. Two people burglarized his detached garage and then made their way up his deck stairs to his kitchen entry door. They entered the home and he shot them, which caused them both to tumble back down the stairs to the exterior ground level. One intruder died at the bottom of the stairs and the other ran a short distance and died. The responding policemen arrested the homeowner for possessing his dead father's gun in the home where his dead father lived. The homeowner had not yet registered the firearm to himself after his dad passed away. He's been charged with felony possession of a firearm. This is bullshit.
