It'll be really interesting to see if moving up Signing Day to Dec. 4 changes the coaching carousel. And could be a benefit in Mizzou's favor for keeping Drink.

Last game of the regular season is Nov. 30 for most everyone. That means Dec. 1 is the absolute soonest anyone is getting hired for a new job if your agent has been negotiating behind the scenes. Meaning they'd have two days before signing day with no chances to host them for visits or meet with many of your new commits in-person.

So you're essentially losing out on a whole first recruiting class if you change jobs. You're also going to lose a ton of guys to the portal in whatever job you take over, if you even want to keep them around. That's a tough way to start at a new program, particularly if you have a job that's similar to it now (i.e. Kiffin or Drink).
